Bobwhites and Maypops Giclee Print 8"x8"

This is a high-quality giclee art print, 8"x8", printed on white, acid-free, archival paper. The original piece was cut from paper in the Polish folk tradition of "wycinanki." This listing is for a giclee reproduction of that piece. This limited edition print is signed by the artist. It depicts bobwhite quail, surrounded by the blooms, vines and fruits of the maypop plant (passiflora incarnata). Maypops host the gulf fritillary butterfly, and this print shows the caterpillars and butterflies. This design was inspired by my walks through the countryside in SW Louisiana.
